The Dabman 12's rechargable Li-Ion battery has serveral advantages: it can be easily charged with every common USB interface(Charging cable included), it has a short charging interval in combination with long playtime, and it can be replaced either by another Li-Ion battery of the same sort or, of there is no opportunity to charge it, by conventional AAA batteries(not included).
