You can use the temperature indicator together with the manual power off to get the right temperature for your tea: Here is some tips regarding temperatures for different teas:
. White tea 65-80°C, let it steep for 2 min.
. Green tea / flavored green tea 80°C, let it steep 45 sec -1 min.
. Oolong tea 90°C, let it steep 3min.
. Black tea / flavored black tea 90-100°C, let it steep 2 min -3 min
. Maté/Rooibos/Herbal tea 98°C, let it steep 5-6 min
