This splitter receives a DisplayPort signal from the computer and splits it to four outputs. The outputs are compatible with DisplayPort Dual Mode (DP++) which means that you dont have to have a DisplayPort - DisplayPort cable to use this splitter, you can actually split the DisplayPort signal to HDMI monitors with a compatible DisplayPort - HDMI/DVI adapter cable.
